On specified Wednesdays our congregation comes together in these groups.
Chavurah Groups are congregational study fellowship gatherings.
Assembling in various generous homes, we search the Word of G-d and tackle important questions. Basis is the Bible in it’s entirety. Generally, we prefer the KJV due to it’s closeness to the fundaments of original scripture. The fundaments of the original languages are:
1. the Biblia Stuttgartensia for the T’nakh and
2. the ‘textus receptus’ for the B’rith Chadashah.
(Don’t be scared: we will not take a Greek or Hebrew test - just bring your favorite Bible and maybe a Strong’s Concordance if you have one :)
It’s great fellowship with prayer and there is much to learn and share.
